Today our seed2tanle thing ended so this Friday. What we had to do is get our photos and fill in the rest of our slides here are the photos. What we had to do is we got into groups of four and decide what seed your going to grow. We decided to grow beans. The catch is you had to change one thing here are a few ideas ( you could change the amount of water or a change the liquid you water them

I think our group did very well because our beans take ages to grow but still in good shape

Today we got our math tests back I did the stage seven test because I passed my stage six test and stage five test. I got 32% on the stage seven test last time but this time I got 54%. The trick is you need to practise every day no matter how much you practise a day. Here is a photo of my tests

Today Elly gave us a math question the question was there are 300blocks in a mixel pack there are one two one quarters there are on one fifth and on one tenth and there is one two tenth I used these materials to work it out.

So what I did I knew that one quarter plus one quarter equals half of three hundred but I put two quarters together so I have to split half of 300 again which equals 75 so one quarter equals 75. Then I fugerd out the one tenth equals thirty and two tenth is just one tenth plus one tenth so two tenth equals sixty so one fifth nuts equal sixty


Today I did my look say write check method today I gave myself a challenge though I have to only look once at the words then I have to say then and write then check here is a photo.
I think I did reasonably well because I got all the words right can't wait until I master all those words

Today we had our first work shop Nic said there are 3 methods of asking questions the first one is a right there questions that is when you can answer the question in the text then there is a think and search is (i think I forgot) but a on our own question is you have to kind of think of the answer by that I mean make the answer.


Last week we did our first spelling. What we had to do is Elly called out 150 words then on the next day she shouted out the last 150 words here is what I got

So today we didn't do sports start ensted Nic,Suzanne and Troy each took one activity. Nics activity was bricknator. First you had you had to form a group then you had to chose a group to play. You decide the team that's going to bat and you decide the team that has field the team that fields has to throw the ball to the batter and the batter hits it there will be bricks on the fielders side the batter has to get as much of those bricks as they can when the batters get all the bricks the game ends the fielders can try stop them by catching the ball and throwing it to the fielder who threw the ball to the batter. This was my favourite game.

On Thursdays after lunch the year 6s go to learn Japanese while the year 5s do something better. The year 5s and Troy do creative stuff by that I mean Troy gives us a word or reads us a book.That's our main thing we're going to realate onto like today Troy read us a book called Oops. What the main story the athour is trying to tell you is that if you make a mistake on a picture think again you could change your mistake into somthing cool here is an example.
After that we got into buddy's (I got into a buddy with Angus J )our buddy had to do a mistake for us then you had to change it into a peice of art work here is what I did (it isn't that good)



Feedback: that is really cool you must be a great artist. I like how you thought about the peice of art.

Feedforward: you don't really have any feed forward. #jacobw

I  think this helps you use your creativity more.


Today I had a buddy system with Finis and I. We both gave each other questions about Fractions 
Then I discovered a new game called jelly slice. The thing you have to do in this game is you have 
To cut the Pecies you get given into a separate peice it gets harder as you go here is a photo of a question Finis gave me and a photo of a jelly slice level.

I think I used my time wisely because I did a mix of math games and real math problems

Today we learnt about fractions at first Elly told us to write as many fractions as we can then we learnt about fractions that a bigger then a whole. Here is a photo.
I had a boost on our learning because I had a lesson with Diana on fractions.

Buddy art

Buddy art this is a project that is very interesting project so first we get a square that is 5cm by 5cm that has a little drawing in it. First you do a draft of that drawing then you move on to your good copy when everybody has finished their good copy we stick it together and it should look like this. It's not perfect but that's what makes it cooler.

Feedback I think it was really interesting the art and you all did one piece to form one.
Feedforward I think you need to work on matching the pictures together more. Jacobw 

I think it was pretty hard but we did a good job because me and jack (my buddy) stuck together and got the job done. The challenge for me was to try match the Colour quite well to the peice of square you got
